Celebrating the 4th of July at Pismo Beach !!!

This year we had a really great time celebrating the 4th of July at Pismo Beach.  We enjoyed the beach and sand and at night we sat on the beach to enjoy the fireworks.  I have never seen a fireworks show so close up before.  Brenden loved the fireworks, and he enjoyed getting his feet wet in the water, and playing ball with Dadda and Mama !  Also had a great time camping out at the state park near by after it was all over. It was our first big trip together as a family having Joanna included at only 2 months old !  Everyone had a lot of fun !

Waiting for the Arrival of Joanna !

Brenden had to anxiously wait for the arrival of Joanna, first at the hospital for awhile and then at home for a couple of days until I came home from the hospital.  They weren't allowing children in the hospital rooms in fear of spreading some sort of sickness to the babies.  I missed him so much, and it was great to see him once I got to come home with Joanna.  He was so excited to finally meet her, being that we had talked about her arrival for months now.  He was so kind and gentle to her and loved her very much !

Easter Egg Hunting !

Brenden just loves Easter egg hunting !   He is so quick to find the eggs, even the tricky ones hidden really good.  He got to enjoy Easter with the family and with Melanie.  He got so excited for each egg that he found.  Had to re hide the eggs about 3 times and even after that, it wasn't enough for him, in wanting to find them all day long ! He also enjoyed the little chocolate candies hidden inside each egg. 

A Fun Trip to the Snow !

We went as  a family to the snow in the Sequoias this last winter when I was 7 months pregnant with Joanna.  Crazy, I think so.... I was so cold, not having anything big enough to wear to keep me warm.  Brenden had a blast though and that made me happy.  He had fun having a snow ball fight with Dadda and building a snowman together.  It was a lot of fun !

All Handsome for his First day of Primary !!!

Brenden got all dressed up for his first day of Primary. He looked so handsome ! He looked so grown up and was such a big boy with all the other big kids on his first day of Primary.

Celebrating Brenden's 3rd Birthday and Christmas !!!

Brenden had a nice Birthday and Christmas. They both were very small and simple celebrations with him and family. He really enjoyed everything he got and had fun opening his presents and blowing out his candles on his birthday cake. It was a really great time !
